• Assign the Nickels and Dimes Homework pages in the Student Activity Book.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 1 and 2.
• Assign DPP items E–H. Task F provides practice with multidigit addition and subtraction.

Math Facts. Bit E provides a review of the subtraction facts in Groups 5 and 6. Bit G and Task H provide practice with the multiplication facts for the 5s and 10s.

Home Practice Part 1 reviews the subtraction facts in Groups 7 and 8.

Home Practice Part 2 reminds students to practice the multiplication facts for the 5s and 10s using the Triangle Flash Cards.

Remind students to practice their subtraction facts with the Subtraction Flash Cards in preparation for the assessments of Groups 5–6 in this unit. DPP items I and K assess these subtraction facts.
