  1. Possible response: Peter planted 3 pots of flowers. Each pot had 9 flowers in it. How many flowers did Peter plant?

    3 pots × 9 flowers = 27 flowers

  2. Tara and her two friends ordered pizza for lunch. They each ate 1/2 of a pizza. How much pizza did they eat?



    3 people × 1/2 pizza = 11/2 pizzas
