    1. 11: 45
    2. 45 minutes
  1. 1 hour 45 minutes
  2. 3:40
  3. 5:50
    1. 9 hours 35 minutes
    2. I used my clock to count 9 hours between 8:15 and 5:15 and then I skip counted by 5s from 5:15 to 5:50 to find the 35 minutes.
    1. 7 hours 25 minutes
    2. The family spent 45 minutes for lunch, 1 hour at the museum and 25 minutes for ice cream. That is a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes of time stopped. I subtracted 2 hours from 9 hours and 10 minutes from 35 minutes to find 7 hours 25 minutes of driving time.

HH. Fun with Time

Use your individual clock to answer the questions and collect the clues to solve this mystery and discover how long it took Miguel's family to travel to Grandma's house.

Miguel and his family decided to take a trip to Grandma's house in their car. They left their house at 8:15 on the morning of their trip and drove for 31/2 hours before stopping for lunch. They finished lunch at 12:30 and jumped back in their car. At 2:15 they stopped at a historic sight and visited a local museum. Their tour lasted 1 hour. They decided to stop at a local ice cream parlor before getting back in the car. They left the ice cream parlor after 25 minutes. They drove another 2 hours and 10 minutes before arriving at Grandma's house.
