Assign Home Practice Parts 2 and 3. Part 2 provides practice solving problems with time. Part 3 provides practice using strategies to problem solve.
Assign DPP items E–J. In DPP items E and G, students estimate the volume of a jar before finding the actual volume. For Task F, students compute multiplication and division problems. Students solve problems using area and perimeter in Task H and in Bit I, students use <, >, or = to make true number sentences using fractions. For Task J, students use multiplication to solve problems.
