Est. Class Sessions: 2–3Homework and Practice
- Assign the Graph Stories pages in the Student Activity Book for homework.
- Assign Home Practice Parts 4–6. In Part 5, students explore number relationships using prime numbers and factors. In Part 6, students use rules to complete function tables and explore the patterns in order to write rules.
- Assign DPP items O–R. In Bit O, students use estimation to solve problems. Students solve division problems using estimation to check the reasonableness of their answers in Task P. In Bit Q, students complete a function table using the pattern in that table.
Math Facts. DPP Task R provides practice with multiplying and dividing with one and zero. In Home Practice Part 4, students practice multiplication and division facts with multiples of 10 and 100.
