Assign the Homework section on the Order of Operations pages in the Student Guide as homework. Students use the order of operations to complete true number sentences.
Students can play Operation Target with a family member. A copy of the rules for this game are on the Operation Target Master in the Teacher Guide.
Assign DPP Items Q–R. In Bit Q students practice writing decimal numbers using benchmarks. In Task R they practice using the order of operations to evaluate if number sentences are true and add parentheses to make a false sentence true.
