D. Fraction Skip Counting 2

Use the pages in the Student Guide Reference section.

  1. Skip count by sixths from 1/6 to 4. Write all the numbers down. Use mixed numbers. Start like this: 1/6 , 2/6, 3/6, 4/6, 5/6, 1, 11/6, 12/6, 13/6, 14/6, 15/6, 2, etc.
  2. Skip count by sixths again. Write all the numbers down. This time count using improper fractions except for whole numbers. Start like this: 1/6, 2/6, 3/6, 4/6, 5/6, 1, 7/6, 8/6, 9/6, 10/6, 11/6, 2, etc.
  3. Skip count by sixths. Write all the numbers down. This time use mixed numbers in simplest form. Start like this: 1/6, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 5/6, 1, 11/6, 11/3, 11/2, etc.
