- Students complete unfinished problems from the Student Guide pages after Part 3 of the lesson.
- Students complete the Dancing in TIMSville problem after Part 4 of the lesson.
- Assign Home Practice Parts 8–10. In Part 8, students find all the possible amounts that can be made using 3 coins. Students practice writing big numbers in Part 9. In Part 10, students use estimation strategies to solve multiplication word problems.
- Assign DPP items O–R. In Bit Q, students compare fractions and Task R provides practice with estimating products of multidigit numbers.
Math Facts. Task P provides practice solving problems involving multiplication and area and involves the division facts. Bit O is a quiz on the division facts for the last six facts.
