L. Planet Gzorp

Design your own animal from Gzorp that grows by adding squares in a pattern each year.

  1. Show what your animal looks like when it is 1 year old.
  2. Make a drawing that shows how the animal grows.
  3. Make a data table with the age in years (A) in the first column and the size of squares (S) in the second column.
  4. What will be the size of your animal when it is 20 years old?
  5. Write a rule in words that gives the size in squares (S) for any age in years (A).
  6. Write a formula for the size (S) for any age (A).
