- Assign DPP items O–R.
Math Facts. DPP items O–R provide practice with either the division facts for the 5s and 10s, or multiplication and division with 0 and 1.
Remind students to study for the quiz on the divisions facts for the 5s and 10s at home using their Triangle Flash Cards.
For students who need more practice with ordering and reading large numbers, have them do the following activity.
Create a stack of cards with numbers from 100,000 to 1,000,000. Have students work with partners. Each person draws five cards and orders his or her cards from smallest to largest. Each student reads aloud his or her five numbers and checks the order of the partner's numbers. Encourage students to refer to the number line the class created.
