Facts I Know: Multiplication and Division

• Assign the Facts I Know: Multiplication and Division Homework section in the Student Guide.
• Assign the Mixed-Up Tables pages in the Student Activity Book.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 1 and 2.
• Assign DPP items A–B. Bit A highlights the multiplication properties of zero and one. Task B provides practice with the distributive property of multiplication.

Math Facts. Facts I Know: Multiplication and Division in the Student Guide asks students to self-assess their fluency with all the multiplication facts [E12] and the division facts for the 5s and 10s [E10] using Triangle Flash Cards.

Remind students to practice the multiplication facts they still need to learn using the Triangle Flash Cards they made from the Blank Triangle Flash Cards page in the Student Activity Book.

Home Practice Part 1 asks students to take home Triangle Flash Cards to practice division facts for the 5s and 10s. Part 2 provides practice with other multiplication facts.
