Display the hexagon and trapezoid.

List and display student responses.

Possible responses include:

  1. Both shapes have more than three sides and corners. Both shapes have straight sides.
  2. The hexagon has six sides and corners and the trapezoid has only four sides and corners. All of the sides of the hexagon are the same length, but the sides of the trapezoid are all different lengths. All of the hexagon's corners are the same size. Only two of the trapezoid's corners are the same size.
