- Assign the Ten Frames, Number Lines, and Tallies Homework Masters which provide an opportunity for students to connect numbers represented on ten frames to number lines and review tallies. Discuss the example with students before sending the pages home.
- Send home the Wearing Pockets Homework Master so that students will wear clothing with pockets for the data collection in Lessons 3 and 4. If your students wear uniforms, ask students to draw or take a picture of themselves wearing an outfit with pockets. Be sure students show the pockets on the front and back of their outfits.
- Assign DPP items C–F. Items E and F compare measurements with links.
Math Facts. Items C and D develop strategies for counting on and counting back.
