Assign the Fix the Number Line Homework
Masters after Part 2 of the lesson. Students fill in
numbers and show skip counting by tens on the
number line.
Assign DPP items W–Z. Items W–X review skip
counting by twos, fives, and tens, and adding and
subtracting on the 200 Chart. Items Y and Z provide
practice using the 200 Chart and the number
line.
Assign Home Practice Parts 5–6. Part 5 provides
practice with the subtraction facts related to the
addition facts to Group D. Part 6 provides practice
with word problems involving addition and
subtraction.
