Challenge more able students to make nets of the Power Solids®. This task involves relating the three-dimensional solid to a two-dimensional shape and visualizing it in a different way than tracing the faces separately as done in the lesson. Students need to think about which faces to put together to form the edges of the solid and how to arrange the faces to avoid overlap. For example, which nets below will make a cube when folded?
