Tangrams
Est. Class Sessions: 2–3Homework and Practice
- Assign the Homework section of the Tangrams pages in the Student Guide after Part 1 of the lesson.
- Assign Make and Measure in the Student Activity Book for homework after Part 2 of the lesson.
- Assign DPP items C–F. In Bit C, students identify and reason with the properties of shapes. In Bit E, students practice adding nine. In Task F, students solve problems involving elapsed time.
Math Facts. In Challenge D, students solve riddles involving the multiplication facts. This item can be assigned as a Problem of the Week.
Remind students to take home their Triangle Flash Cards to prepare for the assessment of their multiplication facts for nines in DPP Bits CC and GG.
