Workshop: Patterns

• Students can complete unfinished questions for homework.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 6 and 7. Part 6 provides practice with partitioning numbers using base-ten hoppers. In Part 7, students analyze another set of Bouncing Ball data.
• Assign DPP Items U–X. DPP Bit U is a multiple choice question dealing with subtraction. Challenge V contains word problems involving money and Bit W asks students to use patterns in a table to complete questions.
• DPP Task X asks students to answer questions using a graph. This item can be used as a Problem of the Week.

Math Facts. Remind students to take their flash cards home to study the last six multiplication facts.
