Est. Class Sessions: 4–5Homework and Practice
- Assign the Homework section on the Bouncing Ball pages in the Student Guide. Note that students will need a piece of Centimeter Graph Paper and a ruler to draw a best-fit line.
- Assign Home Practice Parts 3–5. Part 3 provides practice with factor trees and exponents. Part 4 provides practice with addition and subtraction and Part 5 is a review of area and perimeter.
- Assign DPP items M–T. Items O and P involve elapsed time. Bit Q provides practice finding averages.
- Challenge N provides practice graphing and drawing a best-fit line. It can be used as a Problem of the Week.
Math Practice. DPP Bits M and S provide practice with the math facts and multiplying by multiples of 10. Task T is a math riddle that uses math facts.
