Use Doubles

• Assign the Use Doubles to Add Homework Masters to provide more practice with addition using doubles strategies. Students will need a prepared set of the Doubles and Near Doubles Ten Frames Cards Masters.
• Assign DPP items Q–T. Students practice making ten to solve addition problems in DPP item Q. Items S–T provide practice with solving doubles and near doubles.
• Assign Home Practice Part 3. Students practice finding the value of a collection of coins.

Math Facts. DPP item R provides practice with fluency and strategies for addition facts, and the related subtraction facts for Groups A and B.
