- Assign the See Ten and Add Homework Masters after Part 1. Assign the Make Ten with Irma Homework Masters after Part 2. Both assignments provide practice with using the make-ten strategy to add.
- Assign DPP items M–P. DPP item N practices the partitions of ten.
- Assign Home Practice Part 2. Students practice with math facts involving the addends 7 and 8.
Math Facts. In DPP items M, O, and P, students practice the addition math facts in Groups A–B.
