We recommend 2 minutes for this quiz. Allow students to change pens after the time is up and complete the remaining problems in a different color. After students take the test, have them update their Division Facts I Know charts.

It is likely that a student who answers 40 ÷ 8 correctly also knows the answer to 40 ÷ 5. To make sure, after the quiz, ask students to write a related division fact, if possible. The square numbers have only one division sentence (e.g., 25 ÷ 5 = 5). Then, students who answer a fact correctly and also write the correct related fact can circle both facts on the chart.
