Practice Strategies for Larger Numbers

- Assign the Sandwich Recipe Homework Master.
- Copies of the Ten Frame Cards 1–9 Master can be sent home so students can practice visualizing what to move to make ten.
- Assign DPP items U–X. DPP item V provides practice with identifying larger numbers. In item W, students find the values of sets of coins. In item X, students identify different ways to show 60 with partitions of 10 and 20.
Math Facts. Item U provides practice with the addition facts in Group A.
