- Assign the How Many Homework Masters to reinforce using efficient addition strategies to solve problems and showing one's work.
- Assign DPP items M–P. In items M–N, students practice using the make-ten strategy to add. In item O, students represent patterns on the 100 Chart. In item P, students practice solving doubles and near doubles.
