Workshop: Addition and Subtraction

• Students can complete unfinished problems for homework.
• Students can play the Addition or Subtraction Digits Game with family members at home. They will need a set of Digit Cards 0–9.
• Assign DPP items Y–Z. Bit Y builds number sense and mental math skills. Task Z provides practice with multidigit subtraction.

Math Facts. Remind students to practice the multiplication facts for the 2s, 3s, and 9s using their Triangle Flash Cards.
