Addition

• Assign the Homework section of the Addition pages in the Student Guide.
• Assign Parts 3 and 4 of the Home Practice. Part 3 provides practice with solving addition and subtraction problems that involve money.
• Assign DPP items M–P. DPP Bit M provides practice with multi-digit addition using the Digits Game. Task P builds number sense.

• Challenge N is a number pattern that students extend and identify patterns. It can be used as a Problem of the Week.

Math Facts. DPP Bit O provides practice for the 9s multiplication facts.

Remind students to take home the Triangle Flash Cards and study the multiplication facts for the 2s, 3s, and 9s.

Home Practice Part 4 provides practice with the fact families related to the multiplication facts for the 2s, 3s, and 9s.
