Problems of Scale

• Assign the Using Ratios Homework in the Student Activity Book. These problems provide additional practice converting among differentsized measurement units within a given measurement system and using ratios to solve problems.
• Assign DPP items U–V. Challenge V can be used as a Problem of the Week. Students explain the strategy they use to decide whose model is larger.
