Mean or Median

• Homework is provided on the Mean or Median pages in the Student Guide. Questions 1–6 can be assigned after Part 1 of this activity and Questions 7–22 can be assigned after Part 2.
• Assign DPP items S–V. In Task T, students practice strategies for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. In Bit U, students practice strategies for division of larger numbers.
• Assign Challenge V as a Problem of the Week. Students analyze average scores.
• Assign Home Practice Part 4. In Part 4 students practice strategies for solving multidigit multiplication and division problems.

Math Facts. In DPP Bit S students solve an area problem that involves the last six multiplication facts.
