Homework and Practice

  • Students can complete any of Questions 10–15 in the Student Guide that they did not complete in class for homework.
  • Assign the Homework section in the Student Guide to students. Students use the patterns they see in the data table and graph to solve problems about a data set.
  • Assign DPP items W–DD. In Task X, students practice using graphs to analyze the relationship between variables. In Bit Y, students practice finding mean and median. In Task Z, students use a table and graph to compare and find equivalent ratio. In Bit AA, students compare factions. In Bit W and Task DD, students practice applying the order of operations.
  • Assign Challenge BB as a Problem of the Week. Students apply the order of operations as they search for ways to find target numbers.
  • Assign Home Practice Part 5–6. In Part 5, students practice comparing ratios. In Part 6, students practice solving multidigit multiplication and division problems.

Math Facts. In DPP items W, CC, and DD students practice the multiplication and division facts related to the last six facts.
