The Three in the Row game pages from the Student Activity Book can be sent home for students to play with a family member as homework after Part 3 of the lesson.
Assign DPP items GG–LL. In Bit GG, students practice writing numbers in expanded form. In Tasks HH and LL, students solve a multistep problem involving the weight and thickness of coins. In Bit II, students practice ordering and comparing decimals. In Task JJ, students solve a multistep problem involving the weight of dollars. In Bit KK, students practice comparing decimals.
Assign Home Practice Part 9. In Part 9, students solve word problems involving decimals.
