Students compare fractions and then use a new fraction circle piece, the hundredths, to help them to compare fractions that are not so easy. Students then use the hundredths circle to change fractions to decimals.

Materials Preparation

Prepare a Display of the Hundredths Circle Wheel. Prepare two copies the Large Hundredths Circles Master each on different color paper. Cut out each circle and cut along the dotted line. Fit the two different color circles together as shown in the Student Guide.
