    1. 5 pieces in each package
    2. 35 ÷ 7 = 5
    1. 60 ÷ 10 = 6 friends
    2. 60 ÷ 5 = 12 friends
    3. 60 ÷ 6 = 10 friends

  1. Sam and Josh have 35 pieces of gum. The gum is divided evenly into 7 packages.

  2. Mary and Ana have 60 cookies. They want to package them to share with friends. Write a number sentence to show how many friends they will be able to share their cookies with if they put:
