• Assign the Partitioning Eight into Parts and Using Sums Homework Masters.
• Assign DPP items A–D. In DPP item C, students practice representing larger numbers as groups of ten and leftover ones with ten frames and number sentences.
• Assign Home Practice Part 1. Students practice adding three addends using number lines, ten frames, and counters.

Math Facts. In DPP items A and B, students practice solving and representing addition and subtraction problems. Students practice representing the partitions of five in item D.
