Homework and Practice

Assign the Ten-by-Ten Name Grid Homework Master.
Assign DPP items M–N.

Math Facts. DPP items M–N provide practice with addition facts and the properties of addition.

Ask students to save their two name grids for use in Lesson 7. Students will compare the name-grid patterns to the patterns on the 100 Chart. Transfer a name grid of a student who has five letters in his or her name to a Name Grid display so that the class can compare it to patterns of multiples of five in the 100 Chart.
