Estimating with Multiplication

• Assign Questions 1–7 of the Homework section in the Student Guide after Part 1 of this lesson and Questions 8–11 after Part 2.
• Assign DPP items K–N. In Task L, students practice using the order of operations. Use Bit M to prepare students to collect data involving time and multiple trials prior to Lesson 5 Hour Walk.
• In Challenge N students play Operation Target. This item can be used as a Problem of the Week.

Math Facts. Bit K practices divisibility by 2, 3, or 6.
