- Assign Questions 6–23 in the Homework section after Part 2.
- Assign DPP items U–X. Task V provides review with the order of operations. Task X provides practice with prime factors.
Math Facts. DPP Bit U presents a pattern that is useful for multiplying by 4. Bit W provides practice with paper-and-pencil methods and mental math strategies to solve multiplication problems.
Remind students to practice the division facts for the 2s and 3s using their Triangle Flash Cards. The quiz on the fact families and the fact quiz for this group will be in Lesson 8 in DPP items Y and AA.
