Using Multiplication Strategies

Use the Two-Digit Multiplication Quiz Assessment Master to assess students' proficiency with multiplication of 2-digit by 1-digit numbers. Students use paper-and-pencil methods, estimation, and mental math [E3, E6, E7, and E8].

The Workshop in Lesson 8 provides opportunities for targeted practice for demonstrating understanding of place value concepts and properties used in multiplication [E3], with estimating products [E6], and using a variety of strategies [E7].
