Homework and Practice

  • Assign the problems in the Homework section of the Multiplying More Than Two Factors pages in the Student Guide.
  • Assign Parts 3 and 4 of the Home Practice.
  • Assign DPP items U–V.

Math Facts. DPP Bit U provides practice with the multiplication facts for the square numbers. Task V is a set of word problems involving money.

Home Practice Part 3 provides practice with the multipication facts for the 5s and 10s. Part 4 provides practice with factors, multiples, primes, and square numbers.

Use Home Practice Part 4 to assess students' abilities to determine whether one number is a multiple of another number [E2]; find the factors of a number [E3]; identify prime numbers [E4].
