In Challenge R, students solve a problem involving money. Bit S and Task T provide practice with representing, comparing, and ordering fractions.

Math Facts. DPP Bit Q provides practice with the division facts for the 9s by solving for unknowns.

Remind students to take home their Triangle Flash Cards to study the multiplication facts for the 9s.

Use the Homework section in the Student Guide to assess students' abilities to compare and order fractions using circle pieces [E9]; write number sentences from area models [E6]; and add and subtract fractions with like denominators using circle pieces [E10].
