- The Fraction Representations Charts pages in the Student Activity Book may be assigned as homework after Part 2. Minis for pages not shown here are in the Answer Key.
- Students can complete the problems they chose to solve on the Showing Fractions pages in the Student Activity Book.
- Assign DPP items U–X. Use Challenge U to practice identifying the unit whole when given a fractional part. Bit W provides an opportunity to practice writing division stories with remainders. Task X provides practice with exchanging coins.
Math Facts. DPP item U provides practice with identifying numbers that are divisible by 9.
Students take home Triangle Flash Cards to practice their division facts for the 9s.
