Use this DPP item to review divisibility by 9 which can help review the multiples of 9.

  1. 11,826; 765; 1224. Explanations will vary. Students might divide by 9 and see if there is a remainder. They might also add the digits to see if the sum is a multiple of nine. For example, 1 + 1 + 8 + 2 + 6 = 18; 18 is divisible by 9, so 11,826 is divisible by 9.
  2. 4010 is divisible by 2, 5, and 10.
