Est. Class Sessions: 2Homework and Practice
- Assign Questions 1–4 in the Homework section after completing Part 1 of the lesson.
- Assign Questions 5–13 in the Homework section after completing Part 3 of the lesson.
- Assign Home Practice Parts 1 and 2. In Home Practice Part 2, students use mental math strategies to solve problems involving addition and multiplication.
- Assign DPP items A–D. Task B asks students to find coin combinations.
- Task D involves making fraction designs and can be used as a Problem of the Week.
Math Facts. DPP Bit A provides practice with the division facts for the square numbers. Bit C provides practice with dividing with numbers that are multiples of ten.
In Home Practice Part 1, students take home their Triangle Flash Cards to practice division facts for the square numbers.
