Angles in Polygons

• Assign Questions 1_4 in the Homework section of the Student Guide after Part 1 of the lesson, and assign Questions 5–8 after Part 3 of the lesson.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 5–7. Part 5 provides practice with showing fractions. Part 7 reviews geometry concepts.
• Assign DPP items K–P. Bit K provides a review of showing fractions. Task L provides an opportunity to practice addition, subtraction, and multiplication strategies for larger numbers. Bit O provides a review of skip counting with time. Task P provides a review of angle types.
• Challenge N can be used as a Problem of the Week and involves spatial reasoning.

Math Facts. DPP Bit M provides a review of multiplication facts while looking for patterns in products.

Home Practice Part 6 involves division facts.

Remind students to practice their division facts for the square numbers with their Triangle Flash Cards.
