Use this DPP item to provide practice with the fact families for the square numbers.

One strategy for solving a division fact when a student knows the dividend is a square number is just to name the divisor. 64 ÷ 8 = 8. Therefore, in practicing the division facts for the square numbers it is necessary that students should continue learning through the study of the multiplication facts and facts families to ensure that they are actually gaining fluency, not just repeating the divisor.
